About us

Established in 2013, Athletic Konnection has strived to empower the youth and strengthen the communities they serve. Starting in Maywood, IL, Athletic Konnection quickly focused on unity in the community, hosting a multitude of events. AK's name quickly grew amongst the residents, gaining notoriety on the city's West and Southside. In 2018, AK chose to take their efforts to Dallas, TX, starting Texas Powerline to provide opportunities for the youth in the Dallas/Arlington/Fort Worth area. After the expansion, Las Vegas was soon to follow, putting the rubber to the road in 2019. 

Operating solely on fundraisers, Athletic Konnection provides FREE camps, clinics, and events for over 1000+ children, ranging across 3 states. (Illinois, Texas, and Las Vegas.)
